New School...time to learn the blogging world!

I have recently accepted a position at a school that will be opening for the first time in our town 2012-2013 school year. I am coming from being at a Title I school for 5 years to a Public Charter school. I am really excited to have this opportunity to help start a new school in our town. Our school is going to be a researched based school with a focus on STEM.

I decided to try this whole "teacher blog" thing out now that I am starting a new adventure in my teaching career. I am always creating stuff for my classroom, so why not share the ideas and ah-ha moments with other teachers all over! I have gained a lot of knowledge and awesome ideas myself by looking at other teacher blogs, why not create my own too?!

Until we are able to move into our classrooms, all my teaching stuff is currently in our garage. I have been trying to start up a store on teachers pay teachers in my extra time (ha - with two girls 7 and 1...there is not a whole lot of EXTRA time), but I have managed to create a couple different teacher calendars for lesson planning binders.
